Hoybach lectures to art guilds, professional organizations, and is a guest lecturer at colleges, universities, and museums. She has an educational television series "The Artistry of Margaret Hall Hoybach" which is produced and shown in the Washington, DC area.

Hoybach is a five time Merit Award winner in the South Carolina Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition. She was selected in 1993 as the Commemorative Artist for the Sesquicentennial Celebration of The Citadel, Charleston, SC. She has had numerous one man exhibitions throughout the United States, and has also exhibited in France and England.
